SENATE BILL NO. 58 was before the Senate on reconsideration. Senator Rieger moved that the bill be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 1. Without objection, the bill was returned to second reading. Senators Leman, Rieger offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 14, after "Accreditation": Insert ", or a degree based on equivalent academic training," Page 2, line 1, after "studies": Insert "or work experience" Page 2, line 13: Delete "hygiene" Insert "hygienist in training" 1995-04-06 Senate Journal Page 0899 SB 58 Page 2, line 18: Delete "industrial hygiene" Insert "certified industrial hygienist" Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Without objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. SENATE BILL NO. 58 am was automatically in third reading. The question to be reconsidered: "Shall SENATE BILL NO. 58 am "An Act restricting the use of the title `industrial hygienist' and related titles and initials" pass the Senate?"
